What is a fanzine?
A zine is a compilation of artworks and stories that revolves around a central theme. When it’s a fanzine, it means that this theme is around a fandom. In this case, our works revolve around the ObaMitsu ship (Obanai Iguro x Mitsuri Kanroji) from Demon Slayer.
Will zine participants receive a free copy of the zine?
Participants are guaranteed to, at the very least, receive a free PDF of the zine and digital merch, as well as the opportunity to buy the physical zine and merch at production cost. If sales allow us, we'll compensate all participants with their own free physical zine + merch bundle - but only if you are comfortable with giving out your postal address.
Does blood in a piece count as NSFW?
Extreme gore is NSFW, but just blood is fine.
What would you be looking for regarding drawing styles? Are you looking for something that is very much like the manga/anime or would you consider having different styles on board?
We think having a variety of styles will be more interesting, so don’t worry if your style doesn’t resemble the manga/anime. All styles are welcome!
Can we apply for more than one position?
Applicants can indeed apply for more than one position, however, If accepted into the zine, they’ll only be accepted as one of the positions they’ve applied for.
